Manicure
Manicure comes from the Latin words "manus", meaning hands, and "cura", meaning care. Thus, manicure is the care of the hands. The purpose of a manicure is to improve the overall appearance of hands and nails, which is essential for both men and women since our hands are consistently on view.
Your Treatment
Treatment is approx. 30 - 40 minutes and involves the following procedures:
- Removing nail polish if applicable
- Soothing and relaxing hand soak
- Cutting and filing of the nails
- Pushing back and trimming the cuticles
- Relaxing hand and forearm massage
- Natural nail buffing
A paraffin wax treatment can be added for maximum moisturization. The application of a warm, soothing, and moisturizing paraffin wax is especially beneficial for individuals with dry, chapped hands and/or those who suffer from arthritis or rheumatism.
